Is GoConnect really free?
Yes, yes it is. After six months of exclusive beta testing with 4,000 agents throughout the country, GoConnect is now available to you for free. Of course, there are a couple premium features…one is free and one we hope you will buy. GoConnect Pro is $19.99 per month and paid through your iTunes account. It allows you to sync multiple devices, share your account, and back up your data. RealSatisfied is our partner for delivering post closing surveys to your clients. You can sign up for a free account on their website and connect the two accounts in your settings menu in GoConnect.
What is this swiping stuff all about?
We wanted it to be really easy for you complete and snooze tasks on the today screen, the swipes were a perfect solution. Swipe from left to right to complete a task, you’ll see it turn green as you swipe. Swipe from right to left to snooze a task until later, you’ll see the task turn yellow as you swipe. It’s fun! I’m confused about what happens when I rotate my phone, can you help?
Sure. When you are on the Today screen or the Home list and you rotate your phone you will see your tasks for the upcoming week, we call this the week view. When you are on the People list and you rotate your phone, you will see your leads. So the answer is…what you see depends on which screen you are on when you rotate your phone. What do the colored dots next to the tasks mean?
The dots (and stars) next to the individual tasks indicate which plan is associated with that task. Transaction plans are dots, lead plans are stars. The colors correspond to which transaction or lead plan the task is associated with.
I accidentally swiped a task that I didn’t mean to, is there an undo button?
No problem! There is not an “undo button” – this is even cooler… If you accidentally swipe an item on the Today Screen, shake your phone (like a Polaroid picture) and it will undo your last swipe. It works for completed or snoozed tasks.
How can I see all my leads?
Click on the “People” icon at the top of the main screen and rotate your phone on it’s side. Check out our Managing your leads video.
What happens when I close a home?
GoConnect will issue a special task on the closing day you specified. It asks you to “Confirm Closing.” If you closed, great! Confirm you closed and the app will automatically roll that home into the “post closing” plan. Didn’t close? No sweat, adjust the closing date accordingly. NOTE: Once you confirm closing, GoConnect automatically kicks off a “Post Closing” plan for this client. Check out our Managing your transactions video.
What happens if I “Confirm Expiration” on a listing?
That transaction goes away, but all the contacts associated with that transaction stay in your app. Check out our Managing your transactions video.
Why can’t I enter tasks that are “after closing date” in buyer/sold listing plans?
We have a special plan for post closing activities. If you have tasks you’d like to include it is best to add them to the template in the Settings menu.
How do I add a task to a transaction?
What a great way to keep track of those really specific, nuanced items that come up during a transaction. Go to the Home Detail screen and click the + button located in the “Upcoming Tasks” section. This will add a task just to this transaction, it will not add it to your plan template. Check out our Managing your transactions video.
How can I add a sub-task? Like, a task that happens after another task is complete?
Boy is this tricky. And I mean it would tricky for you! We did not build this functionality because it would take FOR. EV. ER. to go through the initial set up. It was the most un-user friendly thing we tried during development. We don’t want you to be grumpy.
How do I see the tasks I’ve already completed for a transaction?
Check the Home Detail Screen, this is the screen the pops up when you click to the transaction from your list of homes. There is a section that shows “Upcoming Tasks.” Click the “View all Tasks” and you’ll see what you’ve done, and what’s left to do. Check out our Managing your transactions video.
If I snooze a task when will it show up?
If you snooze until “Later Today” it will pop up 3 hours later. If you have your notifications turned on, you will even get a push notification through your iPhone. If you snooze a task until “Tomorrow” it will show up at tomorrow at 7:00 AM. And if you snooze a task until “Next Week” it will appear on your task list next Monday at 7:00 AM.
I just started using the app, can I add my current clients?
We hope you will. If their contract date is in the past (which is likely) you may see some tasks you’ve already completed. No worries, go ahead and swipe those complete to catch up. If you are adding one of your listings that is already sold, choose the “Sold my Listing” plan and then choose “Add a new listing” … this will prompt you for all the info about the listing and the sale.
Can I call or text someone from within the app?
You sure can! Just be sure you have entered a valid phone number and email address. If your buttons don’t work, click the pencil icon in the upper right of the Person Detail screen to be sure there is a phone number/email entered.
Buyer contract fell through, now what?
Bummer! You can terminate the transaction in the edit menu of a Home Detail. Just click the little pencil in the upper right of the Home Detail screen, then scroll to the bottom and choose “Contract Terminated.” Check out our Managing your transactions video.
One of my listings was under contract but it fell through, now what?
Well, that stinks! You can return this to a listing in the edit menu of a Home Detail. Just click the little pencil in the upper right of the Home Detail screen, then scroll to the bottom, and click “Return to Listing.” Check out our Managing your transactions video.
The closing date got moved, can I change the date in the app?
Yes, absolutely. You can change it in the edit menu of the Home Detail. Any tasks associated with that closing date will automatically adjust.
Can I edit the pre-loaded plan template tasks?
Sure! Please do! You won’t hurt our feelings. In the settings menu, click on the “Transaction Plans” or “Lead Plans.” When you edit a task, add a task, or delete a task, it will change it for every transaction going forward. Check out our Getting Started Video.
How do I get rid of the sample homes and fake people?
Easy… go the Settings menu, scroll down and click the button to “Clear Sample Homes & People” – NOTE: This will NOT clear the pre-loaded action plan templates.
If I give my login information to my assistant can we run that account on both devices?
Good thinking, but…not yet! If you load GoConnect on your phone, and then gave your email and password to your assistant to load on her phone, it will appear as though you both have the same version of GoConnect. But, alas, the devices don’t sync. We will maintain the last backup provided by either device, and that will override anything that was there before.

Loaded my GoConnect on two phones…or a phone and an iPad…
Oh, so you’re trying to be sneaky, huh? Can I download GoConnect on my iPad?
Technically, the iPhone version of GoConnect can be downloaded onto your iPad or iPad mini. However, it is not optimized for use on the iPad and will not sync with your iPhone yet. I know. It sucks. We’re working on it. But be honest, you don’t go anywhere without your phone…sometimes your iPad gets left at home.
Do you have a desktop version?
We are avoiding a desktop version at all costs. Call us crazy, but we believe great design can change an industry. We are designing GoConnect within an inch of its life – it is a truly mobile platform. We may cave in at some point but we’re out to prove mobile can exist on it’s own.
Can I share an account with my assistant?
Not yet. We are still designing the team/assistant functionality.
Will GoConnect connect to my calendar?
How do I import all my contacts?
Ugh, no way José. We don’t want you to just dump a bunch of cluttered old contacts into GoConnect. You can easily add new prospects, current clients or past clients into the app but it works WAY better if you have clean information in there.
Can I change the snooze times?
